53 MoH officers, staff receive Long Service Medal

HIS Majesty Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mu’izzaddin Waddaulah ibni Al-Marhum Sultan Haji Omar ‘Ali Saifuddien Sa’adul Khairi Waddien, Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam has consented to bestow 53 officers and staff at the Ministry of Health (MoH) with the Long Service Medal (PKL) in honour of His Majesty’s 70th birthday.

The presentation ceremony was held yesterday at the ministry’s Al-‘Afiah Hall, where the recipients were presented with their medals by the Minister of Health Dato Seri Setia Dr Awang Haji Zulkarnain bin Haji Hanafi.

Deputy Permanent Secretary (Policy) at the MoH Dr Hazri bin Haji Kifle, said that the award should further encourage their staff to contribute towards customer satisfaction, in line with the country’s aspirations for Vision 2035.

The conferment of the award is in recognition of the recipients’ dedication and commitment shown during their 20 years of public service.

Also in attendance was Dr Hajah Maslina binti Haji Mohsin, the Acting Permanent Secretary at the Ministry of Health.
