MINISTER of Home Affairs Pehin Orang Kaya Seri Kerna Dato Seri Setia (Dr) Haji Awang Abu Bakar bin Haji Apong and his spouse, Datin Paduka Hajah Zahrah binti Haji Mohamad, yesterday welcomed to their Hari Raya open house, Singapore Senior Minister of State at the Ministry of Defence and Ministry of Foreign Affairs Dr Mohamad Maliki bin Osman and his spouse, Sadiah Shahal.
Also present were Senior Parliamentary Secretary, Ministry of Education and Ministry of Social and Family Development, Associate Professor Dr Muhammad Faishal Ibrahim and his spouse, Hayati binti Haron; North East CDC Mayor Desmond Choo; and High Commissioner of the Republic of Singapore to Brunei Darussalam Lim Hong Huai.
The permanent secretary, deputy permanent secretary and heads of department at the Ministry of Home Affairs were also in attendance.
Dr Mohamad Maliki and his delegation are in the country on a five-day visit until June 30.
The visit is a show of acknowledgement for the cooperation, friendship and understanding between Brunei and Singapore.
