PEHIN Datu Pekerma Jaya Major General Dato Paduka Seri Mohd Tawih bin Abdullah, Commander of the Royal Brunei Armed Forces (RBAF) called on Major General Perry Lim, Chief of Defence of the Singapore Armed Forces (SAF).
The RBAF Commander is currently in Singapore for the second leg of the Asean Defence Minis-ters’ Meeting Maritime Security and Counter Terrorism (ADMM-Plus MS & CT) Exercise, which will end on May 12, 2016, according to a statement from the Ministry of Defence.
During the call, the RBAF Commander thanked the Chief of Defence of SAF for the warm welcome extended, and also expressed his gratitude to SAF for co-hosting the ADMM-Plus MS & CT Exercise with RBAF. This truly signifies the close and long-standing defence relationship, as well as the professional cooperation between Brunei Darussalam and Singapore, the statement added.
Also present during the call were Co-Exercise Director, Brigadier General (U) Dato Seri Pahlawan Haji Hamzah bin Haji Sahat, Joint Force Commander of the RBAF and the Co-Chair of EWG on Maritime Security, Lieutenant Colonel (L) Haji Othman bin Haji Suhaili @ Suhaily, the Deputy Commander of the Royal Brunei Navy.
