IN ENLIVENING the festive season of Hari Raya Aidilfitri, the Attorney General’s Chambers (AGC) hosted its annual Mesra Ria Aidilfitri celebration with the theme, ‘Raya Sederhana In Style’ at the Jubli Emas Hall, Law and Courts Building at Jalan Raya Isteri Pengiran Anak Saleha yesterday.
Present as the guest of honour was Attorney General, Datin Seri Paduka Hajah Hayati binti Pehin Orang Kaya Shahbandar Dato Seri Paduka Haji Mohd Salleh.
The Solicitor General, Dato Paduka Haji Muhammad Juanda bin Haji A Rashid as well as officers and staff of the AGC along with their family members were also present.
The Attorney General thanked the Chambers for successfully organising the event. She also expressed her sincere appreciation to all officers and staff and reminded them to never compromise their obligations to discharge their duties with full commitment, integrity, perseverance and professionalism.
‘Pondok Style’ stalls served various selections of dishes ranging from Nasi Briyani to pastas, desserts, drinks and others. The event was also enlivened with a ‘Best Pondok’ stall competition.
The event aimed to strengthen ties and enhance goodwill.
The event was organised by the Legislation Drafting and Research Division of the AGC in collaboration with the other divisions.
