OVER 1,000 invited guests were feted during the Serikandi Group of Companies’ annual Hari Raya open house held at the International Convention Centre (ICC) in Berakas yesterday.
The event was organised in appreciation of the group’s clients, partners and staff for their support throughout the year and in fostering closer ties.
The event also coincided with the company’s 43rd anniversary this year.
The event which started at 11am and lasted throughout the day, saw invited guests including Cabinet Ministers, senior government officials and prominent members of the business community greeted with festive songs and a lively decoration to fit the occasion.
Also gracing the event was Her Royal Highness Princess Hajah Nor’ain and Yang Amat Mulia Pengiran Anak Haji Abdul Qudduus bin Pengiran Lela Cheteria Sahibun Najabah Pengiran Anak Haji Abdul Azi and spouse.
Traditional Malay dishes were served, especially made by the group’s main subsidiaries Serikandi Cafe and Restaurant, Ya-Nur Restaurant and Catering and Ya-Nur Trading Company. Shaikh Haji Khalid bin Shaikh Haji Ahmad, the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Serikandi Group of Companies, expressed his utmost gratitude for the support and patronage to Serikandi Group and mentioned that the celebration was their way of saying thank you to everyone, apart from fostering closer ties with their clients and staff.
