HIS Royal Highness Prince Haji Al-Muhtadee Billah ibni His Majesty Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mu’izzaddin Waddaulah, the Crown Prince and Senior Minister at the Prime Minister’s Office yesterday consented to attend Autoriti Monetari Brunei Darussalam’s (AMBD) Hari Raya Aidilfitri get-together, in his capacity as Chairman of the Board of Directors of AMBD.
The joyous event took place at the Banquet Hall of the Prime Minister’s Office (PMO).
Upon arrival, His Royal Highness was greeted by Pehin Orang Kaya Seri Kerna Dato Seri Setia (Dr) Haji Awang Abu Bakar bin Haji Apong, Minister of Home Affairs as Deputy Chairman of AMBD’s Board of Directors; Pehin Orang Kaya Laila Setia Dato Seri Setia Awang Haji Abdul Rahman bin Haji Ibrahim, Minister at the Prime Minister’s Office and Minister of Finance II; Pehin Datu Singamanteri Colonel (Rtd) Dato Seri Setia (Dr) Awang Haji Mohammad Yasmin bin Haji Umar, Minister of Energy and Industry at the Prime Minister’s Office; members of AMBD’s Board of Directors, senior management as well as its officers and staff.
Shortly after arrival, His Royal Highness consented to a group photo with the AMBD’s Board of Directors as well as officers and staff. His Royal Highness then visited the movie-themed booths set up by AMBD to pay tributes to P Ramlee, famous Malaysian director and actor of the 60s, prior to the commencement of the event.

During the event, His Royal Highness presented tokens and certificates of appreciation to AMBD officers and staff who retired between 2011 and 2017.
Before leaving the event, His Royal Highness consented to meet and greet the Board of Directors, senior management and employees of AMBD.
The event was held in conjunction with the ongoing Hari Raya festivities and aimed at strengthening the bonds among AMBD personnel and fostering a harmonious work culture and environment at the institution.
