TWENTY-THREE trainees who have completed the 5th Heavy Vehicles Driving Course received their certificates during a ceremony yesterday at the headquarters of Megamas Training Company Sdn Bhd (Megamas), the course consultant for the Youth Development Centre (PPB).
In attendance to present the certificates of completion to the graduates was Pehin Datu Lailaraja Major General (Rtd) Dato Paduka Seri Haji Awang Halbi bin Haji Mohd Yussof, the Minister of Culture, Youth and Sports.

This is the fourth time that Megamas was selected as the course consultant since participating in the programme in 2013.
The course is implemented by the PPB, the Energy and Industry Department at the Prime Minister’s Office and Institute of Brunei Technical Education under the Energy Industry Competency Framework with the support of the Department of Economic Planning and Development.
During the event, a signing of employment contracts was held with Sahid Sdn Bhd, Serikandi Oilfield Services Sdn Bhd, Brunei Transportation Company Sdn Bhd, Aziz Latif and Company, MOC Sdn Bhd, PSK Logistic Sdn Bhd, Megalift Sdn Bhd, Buildcon Concrete Sdn Bhd, Slingmax Sdn Bhd, Syarikat PHLS Sdn Bhd, Syarikat Razali Amat Sdn Bhd and Suasana Mentari Engineering Services Sdn Bhd.
