THE 32 crew participating in the 15th Padang International Dragon Boat Race 2017 attended a briefing session prior to departure to Indonesia yesterday.
The country is represented by the Brunei Darussalam Team and Brunei Talent Identification Development Team. The teams will compete against Hong Kong, PDRM Pulau Pinang and host country Indonesia.
They will take part in the 22-crew Open, 22-crew Mix Open, 12-crew Open, 12-crew Mix Open and International Categories from August 4-6.
On hand to brief the participants was the President of Brunei Darussalam Boat Race Association, Haji Haris bin Haji Ibrahim and officials.
Leading the teams are Roshidi bin Abdul Latif as the Head of Contingent, and Fadilah bin Haji Mat Serudin as Team Manager.
