THE signing ceremony of the revised Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on Establishing the Asean-China Centre between the governments of the members of Asean and the Government of the People’s Republic of China was held at the Philippine International Convention Center (PICC), Pasay City, the Philippines, yesterday.
The MoU was signed by the foreign ministers from Asean member states and China. Pehin Orang Kaya Pekerma Dewa Dato Seri Setia Lim Jock Seng, Minister at the Prime Minister’s Office and Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade II signed on behalf of Brunei Darussalam.
Meanwhile, the Asean Post Ministerial Conference (PMC) + 1 Session with Japan was also held at the PICC yesterday. The meeting was co-chaired by Pehin Orang Kaya Pekerma Dewa Dato Seri Setia Lim Jock Seng and Taro Kono, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Japan.
Brunei Darussalam is currently the Country Coordinator for the Asean-Japan Dialogue Relations.
