HIS Majesty Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mu’izzaddin Waddaulah ibni Al-Marhum Sultan Haji Omar ‘Ali Saifuddien Sa’adul Khairi Waddien, Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam, yesterday afternoon received Letters of Credence from the three newly appointed envoys to Brunei Darussalam.
His Majesty received Letters of Credence from Richard Stephen Lindsay, High Commissioner of the United Kingdom to Brunei Darussalam; Motohiko Kato, Ambassador of Japan to Brunei Darussalam; and Peter Hermann Wolff, Ambassador of the Federal Republic of Germany to Brunei Darussalam.
Following the ceremony, His Majesty received in separate audiences the newly appointed envoys to Brunei Darussalam.
Richard Stephen Lindsay previously served as the Head of Security Policy Department at the Foreign and Commonwealth Office.
Motohiko Kato formerly held the post of Envoy Extraordinary, Minister Plenipotentiary and Deputy Head of Mission, Embassy of Japan in the United Kingdom.
Meanwhile, Peter Hermann Wolff had served as Deputy Head of Mission at the Embassy of the Federal Republic of Germany in Paraguay.
The ceremony took place at the Istana Nurul Iman.
