HIS Royal Highness Prince Haji Al-Muhtadee Billah ibni His Majesty Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mu’izzaddin Waddaulah, the Deputy Sultan received in separate audiences newly-appointed envoys to Brunei Darussalam.
The newly appointed envoys presented their letter of credence to His Majesty Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mu’izzaddin Waddaulah ibni Al-Marhum Sultan Haji Omar ‘Ali Saifuddien Sa’adul Khairi Waddien, Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam on August 10. The audience ceremony took place at Qashr Al-Meezaan.
The first envoy received by the Deputy Sultan was Richard Stephen Lindsay, the High Commissioner of the United Kingdom to Brunei Darussalam. Lindsay previously served as the Head of Security Policy Department at the Foreign and Commonwealth Office.
His Royal Highness then received Motohiko Kato, Ambassador of Japan to Brunei Darussalam. Kato formerly held the post of Envoy Extraordinary, Minister of Plenipotentiary and Deputy Head of Mission at the Embassy of Japan in the United Kingdom.
His Royal Highness also received Peter Hermann Wolff, the Ambassador of the Federal Republic of Germany to Brunei Darussalam. Wolff served as the Deputy Head of Mission at the Embassy of the Republic of Germany in Paraguay.
