ROARS of motorcycle engines filled the Tutong District yesterday morning.
The motorcycles, which included Harley Davidson, Yamaha, Honda, Kawasaki, Suzuki and others, were part of the Tutong Brunei Bike Festival (TBBF) Convoy Ride organised by the Motorcycle Club of Tutong District (KEKAL).
The event was held from the TBBF venue at the open area in front of the Pengiran Muda Mahkota Pengiran Muda Haji Al-Muhtadee Billah Hospital in Pekan Tutong to the Village Consultative Council (MPK) of Kampong Ukong and back.
More than 100 bikers from different clubs in and outside of Brunei, including from Sabah, Sarawak, Cebu and Langkawi, participated in the 40-kilometre TBBF Convoy Ride to MPK Ukong.
The Acting Tutong District Officer, Haji Adnan bin Haji Adam, launched the convoy by waving a flag at the starting line to officiate the ride which was led by Samsuddin bin Haji Lani, the President of KEKAL.
An appreciation dinner and exchange of mementoes were also held in the evening at the Serambangun Multipurpose Hall, Tutong.
The three-day event will conclude today, with more retro car and motorcycle shows as well as booth activities set up at the venue.
