IN enlivening the celebration of Israk Mikraj, the Attorney General’s Chambers (AGC) yesterday organised a religious talk at the Law and Courts Building at Jalan Raja Isteri Pengiran Anak Saleha.
The event was graced by the presence of Her Royal Highness Princess Hajah Muta-Wakkilah Hayatul Bolkiah.
Also in attendance were Yang Amat Mulia Pengiran Anak Haji Mohammed Al-Mokhtar bin Pengiran Lela Cheteria Sahibun Najabah Pengiran Anak Haji Abdul Aziz; the Attorney General, Datin Seri Paduka Hajah Hayati binti Pehin Orang Kaya Shahbandar Dato Seri Paduka Haji Mohd Salleh; and Dato Paduka Haji Mohd Juanda bin Haji Abdul Rashid, the Permanent Secretary (Law and Welfare) at the Prime Minister’s Office and Solicitor General as well as the officers and staff of the AGC.

The event commenced with a recitation of Surah Al-Fatihah by Muhd Adi Faisal bin Haji Omar, followed by a welcoming remark by Pengiran Khairul Hisham bin Pengiran Haji Ismail, chairman of the ceremony.
The event saw a special religious talk on ‘Sembahyang Kunci Syurga’ delivered by an invited speaker from the Islamic Da’wah Centre, Ustaz Isham bin Ismail as well as the presentation of souvenirs in appreciation of excellence in service to retired officers and staff transferred from the AGC.
