CONCEPTS Computer and Schneider Electric signed a collaborative Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) for promoting American Power Conversion (APC) products in Brunei yesterday.
The MoU was signed by Vincent Pao, General Manager of Concepts Computer and Jeffrey Yap, Country President of Brunei Darussalam for Schneider Electric. Members of the management from both companies were present to act as witnesses for the signing.
In a press statement, Concepts Computer explained that APC works to improve the manageability, availability and performance of data-critical systems through innovative solutions, and Concepts Computer said that it is also working hard to provide affordable power-outage solutions from APC for both commercial and personal use.
The latest in APC’s line of affordable uninterruptable power supplies (UPS) for small or home offices is the APC BX650LI-MS UPS, which is designed to cater to those who need quick and easy solutions for multiple PCs or even just for a single home PC. Rated for 325 Watts at 650 VA, the APC BX650LI-MS offers protection for one’s data and hardware from power outages, power surges, power spikes and even lightning strikes.
Vincent Pao said, “Concepts Computer has been at the forefront of providing cutting edge technology for businesses and personal use.”
“APC products and this MoU signing is another step in the right direction to bring better and greater IT solutions for Bruneian IT consumers,” he highlighted.
“Also, besides the other global brands we carry – like Acer, Epson and Logitech – APC UPS solutions are a needed addition to the range of products we can bring into the Bruneian market,” said the general manager. “It is a reliable and well-known brand that originated from the US.”
“Concepts Computer with APC UPS solutions is not only catering to corporations but also more importantly for everyday home users,” he added. “We understand the importance of our digital memories like family pictures and videos so this is why we focused on providing affordable solutions for them.”
Jeffrey Yap, the Country President of Schneider Electric also spoke on the signing, saying, “As our society evolves and moves forward towards the digital platform for their personal data storage and becoming more open and vulnerable to data-loss due to power outages, this is where APC and Concepts Computer come in and provide affordable UPS solutions, perfect for homes.”
Another to speak on the signing was Zul Abdul Rahman, Marketing Executive at Concepts Computer, who said “Concepts Computer is also eager to showcase APC UPS solutions to the general public because of their commitment to their products and this is reflected in the two-year warranty provided for the most affordable solutions like the BX650LI-MS all the way to the most expensive corporate UPS solutions.”
