HIS Majesty Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mu’izzaddin Waddaulah ibni Al-Marhum Sultan Haji Omar ‘Ali Saifuddien Sa’adul Khairi Waddien, Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam yesterday received in separate audiences the State Counsellor of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar, the Deputy Prime Minister for International Relations and Cooperation Affairs of the Sultanate of Oman and the Chief Chamberlain of the Royal Court of Jordan.
His Majesty first received in audience Daw Aung San Suu Kyi, the State Counsellor of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar.
Accompanying the State Counsellor of Myanmar was U Kyaw Tin, Minister of State for Foreign Affairs and U Cho Htun Aung, Ambassador of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar to Brunei Darussalam.
Daw Aung San Suu Kyi is visiting Brunei Darussalam to attend the Golden Jubilee Celebration of His Majesty the Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam’s Accession to the Throne.
His Majesty then received His Highness Sayyid Asa’ad bin Tariq Al Said, Deputy Prime Minister for International Relations and Cooperation Affairs of the Sultanate of Oman.
His Highness conveyed the personal congratulations of His Majesty Sultan Qaboos bin Said, Sultan of Oman, on the occasion of the Golden Jubilee Celebration.
Accompanying His Highness was Sheikh Saif bin Mohammed Al Shabibi, Minister of Housing and Sheikh Ahmed bin Hashel bin Rashed bin Hashel Al-Maskari, Ambassador of the Sultanate of Oman to Brunei Darussalam.
His Highness is visiting Brunei Darussalam to attend the Golden Jubilee Celebration as the personal representative of His Majesty Sultan Qaboos bin Said, Sultan of Oman.
His Majesty the Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam also received His Royal Highness Prince Hashim bin Al Hussein, the Chief Chamberlain at the Royal Court of Jordan. His Royal Highness conveyed the personal congratulations of His Majesty King Abdullah II Ibn Al-Hussein, King of Jordan, on the occasion of the Golden Jubilee Celebration.
His Royal Highness is visiting Brunei Darussalam to attend the Golden Jubilee as the personal representative of His Majesty King Abdullah II Ibn Al-Hussein, King of Jordan.
Also present during the audience ceremony was Pehin Orang Kaya Pekerma Dewa Dato Seri Setia Lim Jock Seng, Minister at the Prime Minister’s Office and Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade II.
The audience ceremony took place at the Istana Nurul Iman.
