AS PART of DST’s ‘Ihsan Kasih’ initiatives to do beautiful things out of love, a single mother of four children with special needs (autism) yesterday received a total sum of B$17,650 from DST and its partners Huawei Technologies (B) Sdn Bhd, Ericsson, GreenCity Concept Sdn Bhd, PAR Corporation Sdn Bhd, ASAFF Solutions Sdn Bhd, Ishajaya Technology Sdn Bhd, Maju Jaya Sdn Bhd, and Primatel Communications Sdn Bhd.
Dayatrina binti Moksin is a recipient of a bungalow under the Yayasan Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah (Yayasan) Housing Scheme but the preparation of the house also required additional funding for installation of safety and security features for her special needs children. The additional funds for the installation works were contributed by DST and its vendors.
The presentation ceremony was held at DST headquarters at Jalan Tungku Link. The guest of honour was Abdul Latiff bin Pehin Orang Kaya Seri Setia Dato Paduka Haji Mohd Yusof, a member of DST Board of Directors. Also in attendance were Mohammad Ali Rahman bin Besir, representing the Chief Executive from YSHHB as witness of the contributions presented by DST and its vendors to Datin Paduka Apsah binti Haji Abdul Majid, who received on behalf of the recipient, Dayatrina binti Moksin.
Present to hand over DST donation of B$4,330 was Haji Suhaimi bin Haji Hussain, CEO of DST.
Also in attendance to present the donations were the heads of companies who provided contributions, DST’s executive committee members, DST management and officials.
As part of DST’s community outreach, DST’s Ihsan Kasih strives to contribute to making a difference to the livelihood of the less fortunate. DST hopes that the donations provided by DST can ease the current situation faced by the victims.
