HIS Majesty Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mu’izzaddin Waddaulah ibni Al-Marhum Sultan Haji Omar ‘Ali Saifuddien Sa’adul Khairi Waddien, Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam, presented a Letter of Credence to Brunei Darussalam’s newly appointed Ambassador to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Dato Seri Setia Awang Haji Yusoff bin Haji Ismail yesterday.
His Majesty also received Letters of Credence from Datuk Ghulam Jelani bin Khanizaman, the newly appointed High Commissioner of Malaysia to Brunei Darussalam; Biravij Suwanpradhes, the newly appointed Ambassador of the Kingdom of Thailand to Brunei Darussalam; and Lim Hong Huai, the newly appointed High Commissioner of the Republic of Singapore to Brunei Darussalam.
Following the ceremony, His Majesty granted an audience to Dato Seri Setia Awang Haji Yusoff who previously served as the Deputy Minister of Education.
His Majesty then granted separate audiences to the newly appointed foreign envoys to Brunei Darussalam.
Datuk Ghulam Jelani previously served as Permanent Secretary at the Ministry of Rural Development in Sabah.
Biravij Suwanpradhes previously served as Ambassador attached to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in the Kingdom of Thailand.
Lim Hong Huai previously served as the Director-General of Southeast Asia at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in the Republic of Singapore.
The ceremonies took place at the Istana Nurul Iman.
