The Brunei December Festival 2017 from December 3 to 31 will be organised by the Tourism Development Board with cooperation from government agencies and an event manager. This is an initiative by the government to encourage Bruneians to choose Brunei Darussalam as their first choice destination for vacation and shopping to boost the nation’s economy. The festival will also be a platform for the public and tourists to experience events and activities lined up.

Topics discussed included village activities, places of interest to be developed and sharing of best practices in developed nations, especially approaches through close public-private partnership involvement.

The same roadshow was conducted in Temburong District yesterday, followed by Belait and Tutong Districts today as an effort by the MPRT and the Brunei Tourism Board to promote and introduce events to be held throughout the festival.
