THE future success of children is guaranteed by Allah the Almighty but parents are responsible for shaping children by providing education from childhood to adulthood so that they can succeed in the world and in the hereafter.
Education in the field of Tauhid, piety and morality are three key points in providing basic and absolute education to the children in order to be great and successful.
This was highlighted in a religious talk in conjunction with Maulidur Rasul – ‘Prelude to Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) Birthday Celebration’ organised by Takmir committee members of Kampong Sungai Buloh Mosque in collaboration with the Dakwah TV Unit of Radio Television Brunei (RTB).
The special talk was delivered by two UNISSA lecturers, Ustaz Dr Achmad Yani and Ustaz Dr Kamaru Salam, who highlighted the experiences, teaching and noble values that had been left be-hind by Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) to Muslims.
Ustaz Dr Achmad Yani said Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) had been through the challenges of life, experiencing poverty at a young age but became great and beloved by his companions. “In Al-Quran, it has been explained that the child can become and give Syafa’at (assistance) to the parents to bring in heaven,” he explained. He also emphasised the noble character of Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) to be the prime example for which Muslims should carry out their daily lives. Both speakers also exemplified Prophet Muhammad’s (pbuh) glorification when he received his revelation and patience in delivering the first Dakwah (propagation) in silence for three years until finally resulting in a very proud achievement.
“In the beginning, Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) received great challenges, however, the very nature of the Prophet, who was very prudent and his wisdom in overcoming all obstacles has given him great success,” explained Ustaz Dr Kamaru Salam. The talk was one of Kampong Sungai Buloh Mosque’s activities to further glorify the celebration of Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) for this year.
RTB will be broadcasting the religious talk on the special programme at 5pm from November 28 to 30 at Perdana Channel, and on the Sukmaindera Channel starting 6.30pm.
