HIS Majesty Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mu’izzaddin Waddaulah ibni Al-Marhum Sultan Haji Omar ‘Ali Saifuddien Sa’adul Khairi Waddien, Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam, yesterday afternoon received in audience Dato Seri Paduka Dato’ Sri Anifah bin Haji Aman, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Malaysia, who is on a two-day working visit to the country.
During the audience ceremony, His Majesty the Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam and the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Malaysia discussed bilateral relations between Brunei Darussalam and Malaysia as well as exchanged views on regional and international matters.
Accompanying the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Malaysia during the ceremony were Datuk Ghulam Jelani bin Khanizaman, High Commissioner of Malaysia to Brunei Darussalam and Dato’ Seri Ramlan bin Ibrahim, Secretary-General of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Malaysia. Also present was Pehin Orang Kaya Pekerma Dewa Dato Seri Setia Lim Jock Seng, Minister at the Prime Minister’s Office and Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade II.
Meanwhile, in another part of Istana Nurul Iman, Her Majesty Duli Raja Isteri Pengiran Anak Hajah Saleha binti Al-Marhum Pengiran Pemancha Pengiran Anak Haji Mohamed Alam received in audience Datin Sri Siti Rubiah binti Datuk Abdul Samad, the spouse of the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Malaysia.
Accompanying Datin Sri Siti Rubiah was Datin Rusziah binti Haji Ghulamdin, the spouse of the High Commissioner of Malaysia to Brunei Darussalam.
Also present at the ceremony was Datin Paduka Tan Bee Yong, spouse of the Minister at the Prime Minister’s Office and Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade II.
The audience ceremony took place at Istana Nurul Iman.
