THE Licensing and Enforcement Division of the Brunei-Muara District Office recently removed 11 abandoned vehicles during a third joint operation with M Han Disposal Company.

The operation was carried out at several business premises and workshops in Kampong Mentiri, Kampong Salambigar and Kampong Sungai Hanching.

The vehicles – a Mitsubishi Lancer, a Honda Civic, a Mitsubishi Kuda, a Toyota Corona, a Suzuki Vitara, a Daihatsu Charade, a Kia Rio, a Chevrolet Vivant Rezzo, a Kia Carnival, a Nissan Laurel and a Nissan Cefiro – were all towed to M Han’s disposal yard.

As many as 23 derelict vehicles have been relocated, since early January this year.

Meanwhile, the Licensing and Enforcement Division called on the public to refrain from the random dumping of vehicles, as they pose environmental risks to commercial and residential areas.
