Entrepreneurs get boost from ‘Lakastah ke Mengkubau’

THE three-day carnival organised by RPN Panchor Mengkubau Village Consultative Council (MPK RPN Panchor Mengkubau) which will continue until tomorrow.

The carnival organised in collaboration with ADPutra (B) Sdn Bhd is being held at the Recreational Park of Bukit Mengkubau Jalan Tanjung Selasih, RPN Panchor Mengkubau.

Present to officiate the carnival was Deputy Permanent Secretary at the Ministry of Home Affairs, Haji Mohammad Sunadi bin Haji Buntar.

Haji Hairul Azri bin Haji Salamat, Deputy Chairman of MPK RPN Panchor Mengkubau, explained that among the objectives of the carnival is to gather entrepreneurs particularly those residing in RPN Panchor Mengkubau who are actively involved in their online business.

“The carnival also served a medium for the participating vendors to generate more income, while at the same time to foster closer ties among the villagers through various activities carried out,” he added.

With the slogan ‘Lakastah ke Mengkubau’ the carnival also served a platform for entrepreneurs to promote their product under the One Village One Product and established business networking among them.

The event saw the guest of honour launch the carnival and the presentation of donations by Manager of Creative Design, Awangku Md Shair Amsyar bin Pengiran Shahrel Annuar to orphans and less fortunate families residing at RPN Panchor Mengkubau.

It was followed with the deputy permanent secretary, taking a closer look at the participating booths and interacting with the vendors.

Among the activities set to enliven the three-day carnival are bazaar, tug-of-war, car show, Jawi calligraphy, cooking competition, fun night ride and Mukun performance.
