A SOFT launching was held yesterday, for the first free shuttle bus services from the Yayasan Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Complex to the Hua Ho Manggis Mall, and vice-versa.
A representative from the Hua Ho Department Store said that the free bus services will expedite commuter travel between the two shopping centres, while at the same time encouraging visitors to enjoy the cultural scene in Bandar Seri Begawan, including the scenic Kampong Ayer and the Taman Mahkota Jubli Emas. “This is the first such collaboration between Yayasan Complex, Hua Ho Department Store and Syarikat Lian Tong & Anak-Anak,” he said. “Not only will this provide workers, tourists and Kampong Ayer residents with an alternative route to the capital and the Manggis area, but this is a chance for Hua Ho to give back to the community by adding more cheer to Bandarku Ceria.”
The shuttle buses will be available to members of the public today, at 2pm-8pm, from the Yayasan Complex to the Hua Ho Manggis Mall; and at 2.30pm-8pm, from the Hua Ho Manggis Mall to the Yayasan Complex.
The shuttle bus will also operate on Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays, from 10am to 5pm.
