A TOTAL of 150 youths received certificates of participation during the closing ceremony of the ‘Minal Masjid Ilal Masjid’ programme yesterday, at the Kampong Lambak Berakas Mosque.
Pehin Udana Khatib Dato Paduka Seri Setia Ustaz Haji Awang Badaruddin bin Pengarah Dato Paduka Haji Awang Othman, the Minister of Religious Affairs, handed over the certificates.
Organised by the Takmir committee of Kampong Lambak Berakas Mosque, the main objective of the four-day programme was to encourage more involvement in mosque youth groups and mosque-related activities.
Also in attendance were Awang Abdul Mutalib bin Pehin Orang Kaya Seri Setia Dato Paduka Haji Mohd Yusof, the Minister of Communications; Pengiran Dato Seri Paduka Haji Bahrom bin Pengiran Haji Bahar, Deputy Minister of Religious Affairs; Dato Seri Setia Haji Abdul Aziz bin Orang Kaya Maharaja Lela Haji Mohd Yusof, the Permanent Secretary at the Ministry of Religious Affairs; and Roslan bin Haji Taja’ah, the Deputy Permanent Secretary (Administrative and Financial Affairs) at the Ministry of Religious Affairs.
