HER Royal Highness Paduka Seri Pengiran Anak Isteri Pengiran Anak Sarah binti Pengiran Haji Salleh Ab Rahaman yesterday attended the 3rd Brunei Open and Masters (SC) Swimming Championships as Yang Teramat Mulia Pengiran Muda ‘Abdul Muntaqim ibni Duli Yang Teramat Mulia Paduka Seri Pengiran Muda Mahkota Pengiran Muda Haji Al-Muhtadee Billah and Yang Teramat Mulia Pengiran Anak Muneerah Madhul Bolkiah binti Duli Yang Teramat Mulia Paduka Seri Pengiran Muda Mahkota Pengiran Muda Haji Al-Muhtadee Billah took part at the International School Brunei (ISB) Swimming Pool.
Yang Teramat Mulia Pengiran Muda ‘Abdul Muntaqim, who is scheduled to take part in seven events, competed in the 100m freestyle, 100m breaststroke and 50m butterfly.
Yang Teramat Mulia Pengiran Muda ‘Abdul Muntaqim also recorded a personal best of 1:25s in the 100m freestyle while Yang Teramat Mulia Pengiran Anak Muneerah Madhul Bolkiah set a new age group record for seven-year-olds with a time of 1:10s.
Organised by the Brunei Amateur Swimming Association (BASA) with the cooperation of Department of Youth and Sports, a total of seven clubs are participating the meet with two coming from overseas.
The competition will come to an end with the remaining events this afternoon at the same venue.
