His Majesty meets Australian Prime Minister

HIS Majesty Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mu’izzaddin Waddaulah ibni Al-Marhum Sultan Haji Omar ‘Ali Saifuddien Sa’adul Khairi Waddien, Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam yesterday attended a meeting with Malcolm Turnbull, Prime Minister of Australia.

The meeting was held at the Bilateral Room, International Convention Centre Sydney, Australia.

Upon arrival at the convention centre, His Majesty the Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam was welcomed by the Prime Minister of Australia.

During the meeting, His Majesty and the Prime Minister of Australia exchanged views on regional and international matters of mutual concerns as well as bilateral cooperations between Brunei Darussalam and Australia.

Accompanying the Prime Minister of Australia was Nicola Rosenblum, High Commissioner of Australia to Brunei Darussalam.

Also present during the meeting were Pehin Orang Kaya Laila Setia Bakti Diraja Dato Laila Utama Haji Awang Isa bin Pehin Datu Perdana Manteri Dato Laila Utama Haji Awang Ibrahim, Special Adviser to His Majesty and Minister at the Prime Minister’s Office; Dato Seri Paduka Dr Awang Haji Mohd Amin Liew bin Abdullah, Minister of Finance II; Dato Seri Paduka Awang Haji Erywan bin Pehin Datu Pekerma Jaya Haji Mohd Yusof, Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade II; and Haji Zakaria bin Haji Ahmad, High Commissioner of Brunei Darussalam to Australia.
