Baiduri Masters donates $85,000

IN DEMONSTRATING the commitment of Baiduri Masters in making a difference to society, a total of $85,000 collected from golf tournament proceeds was generously donated to charity organisations during the prize presentation of the 21st Baiduri Masters at the Indah Hall of the Royal Brunei Recreation Club yesterday.

The first cheque was presented to SMARTER Brunei and was received by its President Malai Haji Abdullah bin Malai Haji Othman while Children’s Cancer Foundation (YASKA) was represented on behalf by its Treasurer Tsara’Nawwarah binti Abdullah Chen.

Pusat Ehsan Al-Ameerah Al-Hajjah Maryam was the third beneficiary to be presented with the cheque which was received by Haji Ahmad bin Haji Abdul Rahman, Policy and Planning Trustee at Pusat Ehsan.

The other organisations were the Developmental Paediatric Services which was received by Dr Saquib Jalees, Senior Medical Officer and Learning Ladders Society which was received by its President Dr Sharina Yunus.

All the donations were presented by Pierre Imhof, Chief Executive Officer of Baiduri Bank.

A cheque was also presented to the Community Development Department (JAPEM) and was received by Haji Rosmadee bin Haji Mohd Daud.
