ENFORCEMENT officials from various government agencies yesterday conducted a joint operation across three districts in the country to ensure peace and security during the school holidays.
According to a press statement, ‘Operasi Sepadu’ saw the involvement of 126 officers from the Royal Brunei Police Force (RBPF), along with the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB), Land Transport Department (JPD), and the Religious Enforcement Division (BPU).
Head of Enforcement Unit, Assistant Superintendent of Police Pengiran Omar Ali bin Pengiran Haji Manshor led the operation in the Brunei-Muara District, while in the Temburong and Belait districts, the operations were led by their traffic investigators.
The three-hour operation resulted in the issuance of 32 compound fines by JSKLL, while JPD recorded six offences.
