THE Singapore Rugby Union (SRU) announced Headhunter Sport, a rugby apparel maker from Brunei Darussalam, as its official apparel partner.
According to a press release from the SRU, the deal will see all national teams representing Singapore in full kit sponsored by the Brunei-based brand.
The deal covers match officials from the Singapore Society of Rugby Union Referees, and will outfit local referees across all domestic games and supply official apparel merchandise and fan wear at the HSBC Singapore Rugby Sevens on April 28-29 at the Singapore National Stadium.
Yusuf Flynn, Founder and CEO of Headhunter Sport, said, “We are absolutely thrilled to be appointed the official apparel partner of the Singapore Rugby Union. Headhunter Sport was launched in 2015, and we have enjoyed engagement with customers in Singapore through online sales.”

The third edition of the HSBC Singapore Rugby Sevens will see the world’s top 16 teams in Singapore for stop eight of the 10-leg HSBC World Rugby Sevens Series.
The tournament aims to welcome over 55,000 fans from across the globe. The press release noted that the two-day event will be the first time Headhunter Sport products are introduced to a global audience of this magnitude as fans enjoy the biggest celebration of rugby in Southeast Asia.
