THE Capital Residence Suites received the latest addition to its collection of accolades and recognition with an award from Trip Advisor.
This achievement was highlighted yesterday during a press conference led by Abdul Rani bin Siteh, the General Manager of The Capital Residence Suites.
The award is a ‘Certificate of Excellence’ from Trip Advisor. This marks the third time that The Capital Residence Suites has won the award.
Among the other accolades the hotel has received are three awards from Booking.com with a high rating of 8.6 out of 10, as well as one award from Holiday Check with a rating of 5.1 out of 6, two awards from Hotels.com and two awards from Orbitz.
The General Manager said he was proud and thanked the hotel staff for their hard work and dedication.
“Basically this is because of the services that we are providing,” he said. “I based it on two things: customer experience and comfort. That is what we are looking at. We want anybody who comes to Brunei to have a very good experience.”
He said that they provide free shuttle service for their customers to make them feel at ease and so that they need not worry about transportation, and noted that this service has been well received.
The General Manager shared that the hotel currently has 20 suites, and employs 15 staff, with 80 per cent locals.
He also said that work is in progress to add a new building and facility for the hotel. “We are looking forward to the new extension,” he said, noting that this new wing will add 36 hotel rooms.
“We want to call ourselves a boutique hotel,” he affirmed, adding that the new extension is targetted for completion in June this year.
