HER Royal Highness Princess Hajah Masna, Ambassador-at-Large at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade, yesterday began the third day of her official visit to China with a meeting and lunch with Liu Zhemin, Vice-Minister of Foreign Affairs of China at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the People’s Republic of China.
Both sides reviewed the development of bilateral relations and exchanged views on regional and international issues.
In the afternoon, she made a courtesy call on Li Yuanchao, Vice-President of the People’s Republic of China. Both sides highlighted the significance of the 25th anniversary of Brunei-China Diplomatic Relations.
In the evening, Yang Jiechi, State Councilor of the People’s Republic of China hosted a dinner at the Diaoyutai State Guest House where they exchanged views on the state of bilateral relations between both countries.
Her Royal Highness was accompanied by Yang Amat Mulia Pengiran Lela Cheteria Sahibun Najabah Pengiran Anak Haji Abdul Aziz bin Pengiran Jaya Negara Pengiran Haji Abu Bakar, Chief of Adat Istiadat Negara.
The visit is at the invitation of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the People’s Republic of China as part of the celebrations for the
25th anniversary of Diplomatic Relations between Brunei Darussalam and the People’s Republic of China.
