JOINT patrols were held in the Brunei-Muara, Belait and Temburong districts recently to ensure peace and tranquility in the country.
Fifteen personnel from the Bandar Seri Begawan Central Police Station, Berakas Police Station, Limau Manis Police Station, Kampong Ayer Police Station and Muara Police Station worked alongside Neighbourhood Watch members to patrol several locations in the Brunei-Muara District.
In the Belait District, five Neighbourhood Watch members from Kampong Pandan 8 joined officers from the Kuala Belait Police District in the 10.30pm patrol spanning across the Kampong Pandan Community Hall to the commercial areas.
In the Temburong District, the operation was jointly conducted by Neighbourhood Watch members from Kampong Puni of Mukim Bangar, who were led by Inspector Alif Nur Khaliq bin Haji Mat Rasli, Acting Officer-in-Charge of Temburong Police Station and six police personnel.
Mukim Bangar Penghulu cum Neighbourhood Watch Advisor Haji Abdul Rahman bin Merusin and six Neighbourhood Watch members from Kampong Puni were also present.
Two boats were used to patrol the Sungai Pandaruan boundary between Sungai Temburong and Limbang, Sarawak.
