ARUM Couture, a new Malaysian perfume and couture brand, has made its debut in the country following a launching ceremony at The Empire Hotel & Country Club yesterday.
Yang Amat Mulia Pengiran Anak Hajah Siti Radhiah binti Pengiran Maharaja Lela Sahibul Kahar Pengiran Anak Haji Mohd Yusof attended the launch.
Arum Couture offers combo sets of customised perfume and scarves that cater to women’s exquisite fashion tastes. Its line of products also includes four types of Eau de Parfum fragrances: My Sunshine, Duchess, Bloom and Persona, as well as some 200 scarf designs.
The brand’s founder, Putri Salbiah Megat Razali, has commissioned and entrusted the designing of the scarves and formulation of the fragrances to Brunei fashion designers and perfumers Ady Shafiq and Oudh Al Aswad respectively.
In his speech, Arum Couture (Brunei) President Adi Mardi Ajmain explained that the fragrances of the perfumes were specially formulated and chosen to match each scarves collection.
He said the Sultanate was chosen as the first country to launch the Arum Couture brand, as Bruneian women seem to be particularly passionate about perfumes and scarves.
The brand will eventually be launched in other regions.
Arum Couture’s official website www.arumcouture.com and its mobile application, downloadable for Android and iOS users, were also launched yesterday.
