MINISTER of Finance II Dato Seri Paduka Dr Awang Haji Mohd Amin Liew bin Abdullah yesterday morning got a feel of the new Airbus 320Neo aircraft that touched down in Brunei Darussalam on May 25.
The aircraft is first of the seven A320neo aircraft ordered by Royal Brunei Airlines (RB).
The tour in the new A320neo aircraft took place following the signing of financing for the new eight aircraft between RB with BIBD and Baiduri Bank.
Also present were CEO of RB Karam Chand; Managing Director of BIBD Mubashar Khokar; and CEO of Baiduri Bank Pierre Imhof as well as officials from the Department of Civil Aviation as well as RB.
Powered by CFM International LEAP-1A26 engines, the new A320neo aircraft features a premium three-class layout with 12 business class, 18 economy plus and 120 main cabin seats, in addition to a new in-flight entertainment system.
Passengers on the A320neo will be able to enjoy inflight entertainment that is of Thales AVANT (Gen 5) in-flight entertainment system.
Dato Seri Paduka Dr Awang Haji Mohd Amin Liew got a feel of the entertainment system as well as a feel of the seats during the tour.
