THIS Ramadhan, Perbadanan Tabung Amanah Islam Brunei (Perbadanan TAIB) organised a charity initiative as part of its annual charitable drive to help underprivileged families during the fasting month, and part of its effort to support values of caring for the society.
Staff volunteers drove across all four districts and distributed donations comprising daily necessities and monetary contributions provided by Perbadanan TAIB and its subsidiaries, Insurans Islam TAIB Holdings Sdn Bhd (IITHSB) and Darussalam Holdings Sdn Bhd (DHSB) over four days.
Perbadanan TAIB reached out to 31 families with the assistance of the Brunei Islamic Religious Council (MUIB) and village heads.
The initiative was a joint collaboration between Perbadanan TAIB and its subsidiaries. The group was led by Acting Managing Director of Perbadanan TAIB Hajah Noorrafidah binti Sulaiman.
Also present during the drive for Tutong District was Managing Director of IITHSB Haji Osman bin Haji Mohd Jair and Managing Director of DHSB Haji Mahmud bin Haji Mohamed for Temburong District.
