THE Ministry of Religious Affairs (MoRA) with the Pengiran Muda ‘Abdul Mateen Mosque in Kampong Mulaut hosted a Khatam Al-Quran ceremony for the ministry’s women personnel on Wednesday.
Present as the guest of honour and leading the recitation of Surah Al-Fatihah to commence the Khatam Al-Quran was the spouse of the Minister of Religious Affairs Pehin Udana Khatib Datin Hajah Nahriah binti Haji Hasbi.
The Khatam Al-Quran was followed by the recitation of Takhtim and concluded with the Doa Khatam and Doa Allah Peliharakan Sultan dan Brunei Darussalam, read by Senior Religious Officer at MoRA Pengiran Hajah Norasmawati binti Pengiran Haji Ahmad.
The event was one of the efforts by MoRA to host religious activities to reap blessings in the holy month of Ramadhan, and also foster closer ties between women personnel of MoRA with Qariahs and Muslimah group from the mosque.
