Gifts for babies born on RBAF’s anniversary

PRESENTATION of gifts to babies born on May 31, 2018, the Royal Brunei Armed Forces’ (RBAF) 57th anniversary, was held yesterday at the Raja Isteri Pengiran Anak Saleha (RIPAS) Hospital in Bandar Seri Begawan and the Suri Seri Begawan Hospital, Kuala Belait.

Sixteen babies were born in the country on Thursday. Of this 13 were born at the RIPAS Hospital and three at the Suri Seri Begawan Hospital.

Each infant received gifts including cash donations from the RBAF, RBAF’s Wives Welfare Body (BAKTI) and RBAF Cooperative KOWIRA.

Datin Hajah Rasidah binti Haji Brahim, wife of the Commander of the RBAF, presented gifts to the families at the RIPAS Hospital while Datin Eliza Maria Carlos binti Abdullah, wife of the Commander of the Royal Brunei Air Force, presented gifts at the Suri Seri Begawan Hospital.

At the Suri Seri Begawan Hospital, the first recipient was a baby girl of Dayangku Azira binti Pengiran Zahari and Mohammad Noh bin Haji Mohamada, born at 11.21am, weighing 3.92kg while the second recipient was a baby boy of Nazurah binti Haji Kipli and Haji Ibrahim bin Haji Lamit, born at 3.51pm, weighing 2.815kg. The third recipient was a baby girl of Nur Amal Haziqah binti Hashim and Md Saherman bin Md Zooraffendy, born at 11.29pm, weighing 2.99kg.

The presentation of gifts is an annual event to celebrate the babies born on RBAF’s anniversary.
