BAIDURI Bank organised Sungkai yesterday for 10 underprivileged families in the Temburong District as part of their Let’s Give Back This Ramadhan campaign.
The event was held at the StoneVille Hotel in Pekan Bangar.
The recipients were identified through the Temburong District Office.
The aim of the event was to provide relief to the recipients during the holy month of Ramadhan by donating food items as well as money.
Head of Retail Banking and Branch Network Pengiran Azaleen bin Pengiran Dato Haji Mustapha said, “The holy month of Ramadhan is a time for reflection and giving back. With our campaign, we aim to provide some aid and relief to the less privileged families. We hope that with this cash donation and hampers, it will allow them to enjoy the Hari Raya Aidilfitri festivities as well.”
The event concluded with Sungkai at the hotel’s restaurant for the families and Baiduri Bank volunteers.
Also present were Head of Group Communications Department Dorothy Newn, Assistant Temburong District Officer Mohammad Khairul Shahrul bin Haji Duahim and other Baiduri Bank personnel.
