THE Red Bull Warriors Cup and Championship 2018 will kick off on July 1, said CEO and founder of Weekend Warriors Faezal Murni.
He made the announcement during a press conference at the I-Centre yesterday.
Desmond Ong of Red Bull Malaysia and Ang Beng Siong of International School Brunei (ISB) were also present.
The amateur futsal championship, organised by Red Bull and Weekend Warriors, will be held at the ISB indoor court in the Brunei-Muara District and Mumong Sports Complex in the Belait District. The tournament will conclude on July 29.
Faezal Murni said the tournament is the biggest amateur futsal competition in Brunei Darussalam and expressed gratitude to AirAsia, Red Bull and DARe (Darussalam Enterprise) for their support.
The winning team will receive BND1,000 while the first runner-up will receive BND700, the second runner-up BND500 and fourth place BND300.
