THE Brunei Breast Cancer Support Group (BBCSG) held a Tahlil, Doa Arwah and Waqaf of books distribution ceremony at the residence of BBCSG President Hajah Aminah binti Haji Momin, at Teratak Anaria in Kampong Rimba yesterday.
The guest of honour was Pehin Orang Kaya Seri Dewa Major General (Rtd) Dato Seri Pahlawan Haji Awang Mohammad bin Haji Daud.
The ceremony began with the recitation of Surah Al-Fatihah followed by welcoming remarks from Hajah Aminah.
She said that the publication of Yaasiin and Doa-Doa aimed to support patients, both who have recovered and are recovering spiritually. The books will be distributed to the patients, their families, hospitals, health centres and mosques.
The Tahlil and Doa Arwah recitation was led by Imam of Universiti Brunei Darussalam Mosque Ustaz Haji Jofri bin Haji Hidup. The ceremony concluded with a recitation of Doa Selamat.
