YTE were crowned champions of the Brunei Basketball Association (BBA) Challenge Trophy after deposing Primatel 124-94 in a winner-takes-all clash at the Brunei Basketball Association Court in Batu Bersurat last night.
With both teams enjoying a perfect run after wins over BBA Selection and Wolves in the four-member pool, a star-studded YTE side showed their class after holding a 30- point gap.
YTE foreign star Josh White produced a game-high of 40 points while Joshua White contributed with 32 points in a point-laden display.
BBA Selection finished in third place after overcoming Wolves 101-76 in the last game of the BBA Challenge Trophy.
Owner of Bukit Ladang Goh Hock Lai presented the prizes.
