AS PART of the annual tradition during the Hari Raya Aidilfitri festivities, His Royal Highness Prince Mohamed Bolkiah and Her Royal Highness Pengiran Anak Isteri Pengiran Anak Hajah Zariah hosted an open house at Balai Penghadapan, Bukit Kayangan on the first day of Syawal.
Present during the event were His Royal Highness Prince Haji Jefri Bolkiah; Her Royal Highness Princess Hajah Masna, Ambassador-at-Large at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade; Her Royal Highness Princess Hajah Nor’ain; Her Royal Highness Princess Hajah Amal Umi Kalthum Al-Islam; Her Royal Highness Princess Hajah Amal Rakiah; Her Royal Highness Princess Hajah Amal Nasibah; Her Royal Highness Princess Hajah Amal Jefriah as well as other members of the royal family.
Guests of the event, comprising members of the royal family, dignitaries, Cabinet Ministers, Diplomatic Corps as well as senior government officials, were warmly welcomed at the main hall of Balai Penghadapan by His Royal Highness Prince Mohamed Bolkiah and Her Royal Highness Pengiran Anak Isteri Pengiran Anak Hajah Zariah.
Guests were also entertained by live music resounding throughout the main hall featuring an array of Hari Raya and traditional songs, enlivening the atmosphere of the event.
Delectable traditional local dishes, typically served during Hari Raya festivities, as well as a number of different desserts and treats were served throughout the event, a testament to the gracious hospitality shown by the royal hosts.
His Royal Highness Prince Mohamed Bolkiah and Her Royal Highness Pengiran Anak Isteri Pengiran Anak Hajah Zariah with their family also received a Junjung Ziarah from guests.
