MINISTER of Development (MoD) Dato Seri Paduka Awang Haji Suhaimi bin Haji Gafar received a courtesy Hari Raya visit from the Singaporean ministerial delegation at his official residence in Kampong Bengkurong yesterday.
The delegation was led by Senior Minister of State (SMS), Ministry of Defence and Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Singapore Dr Mohamad Maliki bin Osman and his spouse Sadiah Shahal, and Minister of State (MS), Ministry of National Development and Ministry of Manpower of Singapore Zaqy Mohamad.
Also present during the visit was Singapore High Commissioner to Brunei Darussalam, Lim Hong Huai.
Accompanying the Dato Seri Paduka Awang Haji Suhaimi was his spouse Datin Hajah Juraidah binti Pengiran Haji Hidup, along with other officials from the MoD, including Permanent Secretary (Technical and Professional) at the Ministry of Development Haji Marzuke bin Haji Mohsin, Director General of the Public Works Department Haji Amer Hishamuddin bin Pehin Orang Kaya Amar Pahlawan Dato Seri Setia Haji Zakaria.
The Singapore delegation’s visit to the country reflects the close and longstanding friendship between Brunei and Singapore.
