HER Royal Highness Princess Hajah Masna, the Ambassador-at-Large at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade with Yang Amat Mulia Pengiran Anak Mansurah Izzul Bolkiah attended the Singapore High Commission’s Hari Raya Aidiffitri open house yesterday at Royal Berkshire Hall, Royal Brunei Polo and Riding Club.
Accompanying Her Royal Highness was Yang Amat Mulia Pengiran Lela Cheteria Sahibun Najabah Pengiran Anak Haji Abdul Aziz bin Pengiran Jaya Negara Pengiran Haji Abu Bakar, Chief of Adat Istiadat Negara.
Present to receive Her Royal Highness were the visiting Singapore’s Senior Minister of State, Ministry of Defence and Ministry of Foreign Affairs Dr Mohamad Maliki bin Osman and his spouse Sadiah Shahal along with Singapore’s Minister of State, Ministry of Manpower and Ministry of National Development Zaky Mohamad as well as High Commissioner of the Republic of Singapore to Brunei Darussalam Lim Hong Huai.
Also present were Cabinet Ministers, senior officials, members of the Diplomatic Corps and prominent figures in the local community as well as former ministers.
This is Dr Mohamad Maliki’s sixth consecutive visit to Brunei Darussalam for the Hari Raya Aidilfitri celebration and the Singapore Senior Minister visited Istana Nurul Iman on June 16 to personally convey the Hari Raya wishes of Singapore’s leaders to His Majesty Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mu’izzaddin Waddaulah ibni Al-Marhum Sultan Haji Omar ‘Ali Saifuddien Sa’adul Khairi Waddien, Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam and Her Majesty Duli Raja Isteri Pengiran Anak Hajah Saleha binti Al-Marhum Pengiran Pemancha Pengiran Anak Haji Mohamed Alam as well as to members of the royal family.
The Singapore delegation also visited the open houses of Brunei ministers, deputy ministers, and other senior Bruneian personalities.
