THE Brunei Darussalam Scouts Association (PPNBD) is currently being represented by scout leader Norfaezah binti Masri at the Asia-Pacific Regional (APR) Workshop on Diversity and Inclusion in Manila, Philippines, until June 26.
Muhammad Syahmi bin Halimshah, the Public Relation Commissioner, was among those present at the Brunei International Airport for Norfaezah’s departure to the Philippines.
Norfaezah is also the Assistant Belait District Commissioner, Communication Section of the Brunei Darussalam Scouts Association.
The five-day workshop, organised by the World Organisation of Scout Movement (WOSM) of the APR Office in Manila, with the cooperation of the Boy Scouts of the Philippines, aims to enhance the principles of all aspects of the scout movement from regional to national levels; identify the specific and generic issues for the scout movement for every nation; and provide the workshop participants with the practical procedures in strengthening the diverse issues at every level of the scout movement.
PPNBD’s participation is hoped to bring further innovation and diversity to its existing programmes, which in turn will help to generate more interest among the youth and senior members.
