ALL roads leading to Gerai Ramadhan Tutong moved at a snail’s pace late yesterday afternoon as Muslims came to buy gastronomical delights to break their first day of fasting.
The Tutong District Office provided 90 units at the Gerai Ramadhan Tutong located at an open area near Pengiran Muda Mahkota Pengiran Muda Haji Al-Muhtadee Billah Hospital for vendors to sell foods such as local delicacies and Western cuisines. Seventy-six units were allocated for selling food and 14 units for beverages.
Just like in other districts, the Gerai Ramadhan Tutong attracted large crowds.

Mini Gerai Ramadhan were also held in several other Mukims in Tutong District such as in Kampong Kupang and at the open area at Mukim Telisai Community Hall (at Perpindahan Bukit Beruang).
During the month of Ramadhan, many are taking the opportunity to earn extra income by selling food especially for Muslims breaking their fast.
