THE Tutong District Volunteers (SUKA) yesterday handed over clothe donations to victims of a recent house fire.
Azmi bin Haji Md Zain led the SUKA delegation during the donation presentation ceremony.
The donation was taken from the Sumbang & Bantu (Donate & Help) campaign, which is SUKA’s flagship campaign that provides a public platform to donate clothing to the less fortunate and needy groups in the country.
The donation was handed over to Muhammad Farhan bin Sadikr and family at Jalan Paya Bunga Mera, Kampong Mulaut.
The Sumbang & Bantu campaign is a continuous initiative allowing the public to donate clothing to the SUKA Office at Kampong Sungai Basong in Tutong, which will then donate them to the less fortunate or house fire victims.
According to the family, the fire occurred at 4.58pm on July 4.
