UNIVERSITI Teknologi Brunei (UTB) held a closing ceremony for the eighth Student Leadership and Development Programme (SLDP) yesterday at its Lecture Theatre 2.
The programme was organised by the Executive Committees Leadership Development and Mentor Executive Committees, under UTB’s Student Representative Council (MPP).
Assistant Vice-Chancellor (Industry and Services) of UTB Haji Ady Syarmin bin Haji Mohd Taib handed over certificates to the 20 participants, comprising students from UTB, Universiti Brunei Darussalam (UBD), Universiti Islam Sultan Sharif Ali (UNISSA), Religious Teachers University College of Seri Begawan (KUPU SB), Politeknik Brunei, Science College Paduka Seri Begawan Sultan (MSPSBS) and those who recently finished their ‘A’ Level.
The programme was held for four days and three nights at UTB and Berakas Forest Reserve Recreational Park, and aimed to foster character development, allowing youths to uncover their potential and be more proactive in building their future.
