THE Kenali Makanan Kitani food festival is back for the third consecutive year, offering famous Bruneian cuisine, being hosted by Anjung Saujana.
The Permanent Secretary at the Ministry of Primary Resources and Tourism and Chairman of Royal Brunei Catering Sdn Bhd (RBC) Dr Haji Abdul Manaf bin Haji Metussin launched the food festival on Wednesday evening.
RBC Acting General Manager Haji Jeff Hadiman bin Dato Paduka Haji Danial delivered the opening speech at the launching ceremony.
Members of the Board of Directors of RBC, event partners and guests were among those attending the launching ceremony.
The food festival, being held from July 19 to August 11, offers dinner buffet for diners to indulge in the big spread of Bruneian cuisine, including the classic favourite Ambuyat, Ikan Liking and Sayur Umbut, to name a few.
Also taking place during the event were handover of gifts to the Children’s Cancer Foundation (YASKA) as part of RBC’s corporate social responsibility (CSR) initiative.
