SOME 300 people enjoyed an afternoon filled with stunts and performances at the Circus Mania, currently taking place at the Indoor Stadium, Berakas until tomorrow.

The show, organised by Bluewaters Events, is endorsed by the Ministry of Home Affairs and supported by the Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sports and Brunei Tourism. It is also endorsed by the Philippines Embassy in Brunei Darussalam and acknowledged by the Malacanang Office of the President of the Philippines.

The event is fully non-profit, and proceeds will go to the Pengiran Muda Mahkota Al-Muhtadee Billah Fund for Orphans (DANA), Children’s Cancer Foundation and the awareness of Brugada Syndrome (BrS).

The Circus Mania is a two-hour family entertainment and offers a line-up of performers from the Philippines, Malaysia and Taiwan, led by celebrated croc whisperer ‘Croc Boy’ Diony, with acts such as tight-rope walking, high-flying trapeze acrobatics, fire dances, magical illusions and animal hypnosis.

The final shows for tomorrow will be at 9.30am, 2.30pm and 7.30pm.
